Xalapa, Ver.- En el marco del 97 aniversario del Estadio Xalape\u00f1o \u201cHeriberto Jara Corona\u201d, este martes, la s\u00edndica \u00fanica, Cecilia Coronel Brizio, en representaci\u00f3n del presidente municipal Ricardo Ahued Bardahuil, inaugur\u00f3 la exposici\u00f3n fotogr\u00e1fica \u201cModesto C. Rolland, ap\u00f3stol del progreso: constructor del M\u00e9xico moderno\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Se trata de una muestra homenaje al autor de grandes obras como el Acueducto de Xochimilco, la Plaza de Toros M\u00e9xico, el Estadio Ol\u00edmpico de la Ciudad de los Deportes y el Estadio Xalape\u00f1o.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
En la exposici\u00f3n que permanecer\u00e1 en el patio central de Palacio Municipal hasta el 26 de septiembre, se da cuenta de este recinto deportivo que hoy cumple 97 a\u00f1os, ya que de acuerdo con el cronista de la Ciudad, Vicente Espino Jara, se inaugur\u00f3 el 20 de septiembre de 1925.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Acompa\u00f1ado por el secretario del Ayuntamiento, Ram\u00f3n Antonio Ramos Niembro y el director de Desarrollo Urbano, Jos\u00e9 Miguel Torres Ch\u00e1zaro, el funcionario manifest\u00f3 que a trav\u00e9s de diversas fotograf\u00edas se expone la obra civil y trabajos que encabez\u00f3 Modesto C. Rolland en el Estadio Xalape\u00f1o.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Destac\u00f3 que en solo en 79 d\u00edas se edific\u00f3 el inmueble que es un portento de ingenier\u00eda, no solo para la \u00e9poca, sino tambi\u00e9n en la actualidad. Cuenta con un volado de 3 mil 100 metros cuadrados y es el segundo estadio para el deporte y el atletismo construido en el pa\u00eds.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
