El primer ministro brit\u00e1nico, Rishi Sunak, anunci\u00f3 el adelanto de las elecciones generales para el pr\u00f3ximo 4 de julio en el Reino Unido.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La inesperada decisi\u00f3n, anunciada frente al n\u00famero 10 de Downing Street, llega cuando los conservadores se hallan a gran distancia por detr\u00e1s de la oposici\u00f3n laborista, seg\u00fan todas las encuestas, y el mismo d\u00eda en que se ha conocido que la inflaci\u00f3n baj\u00f3 en abril al 2.3%, su nivel m\u00e1s bajo en casi tres a\u00f1os.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

El jefe del Gobierno conservador estaba obligado a convocar comicios antes del 28 de enero, el fin de la legislatura, aunque tiene potestad para hacerlo cuando quiera, aprovechando un momento pol\u00edtico favorable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
