El m\u00e1ximo tribunal de la ONU<\/strong> no orden\u00f3 un alto el fuego en Gaza<\/strong>, pero exigi\u00f3 que Israel intente contener muertes y da\u00f1os en su ofensiva militar en el peque\u00f1o enclave costero.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

En su dictamen de este viernes, la Corte Internacional de Justicia (CIJ) inst\u00f3 a Israel a hacer todo lo posible para impedir cualquier eventual acto de “genocidio<\/strong>” en la Franja de Gaza<\/strong>, donde libra desde octubre una guerra contra el movimiento palestino Hamas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Israel debe hacer cuanto pueda para “impedir la comisi\u00f3n de todos los actos dentro del \u00e1mbito de aplicaci\u00f3n” de la Convenci\u00f3n para la prevenci\u00f3n y la sanci\u00f3n del delito de genocidio, declar\u00f3.Play Video<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sud\u00e1frica, que present\u00f3 el caso, hab\u00eda pedido al tribunal que ordenara a Israel que detuviera su operaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Adem\u00e1s, la m\u00e1xima instancia judicial de Naciones Unidas orden\u00f3 a Israel que autorice el ingreso de ayuda humanitaria en Gaza<\/strong>, en un dictamen hist\u00f3rico seguido de cerca en todo el mundo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Israel debe tomar “medidas inmediatas y eficaces para permitir el suministro de servicios b\u00e1sicos y de ayuda humanitaria que los palestinos necesitan urgentemente para hacer frente a las condiciones de vida desfavorables que enfrentan”, dictamin\u00f3 la Corte Internacional de Justicia (CIJ) en su fallo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
