viernes su excompa\u00f1ero de grupo, el guitarrista Johnny Marr.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>&#8220;Es con una profunda tristeza que anunciamos el fallecimiento de Andy Rourke tras una larga enfermedad por c\u00e1ncer pancre\u00e1tico&#8221;, indic\u00f3 Marr en su cuenta oficial de Twitter.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En su tuit, el artista agreg\u00f3 que <strong><em>&#8220;Andy ser\u00e1 recordado como un alma amable y bella por aquellos que lo conocimos y como un m\u00fasico supremamente dotado por los aficionados a la m\u00fasica&#8221;<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p><strong><em>&#8220;Solicitamos privacidad en estos tristes momentos&#8221;, agreg\u00f3 el artista.<\/em><\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>Rourke toc\u00f3 en algunos de los temas cl\u00e1sicos del cat\u00e1logo de <strong>The Smiths<\/strong>, como en ic\u00f3nicas canciones de la banda de Manchester como <strong>This Charming Man o There is a Light That Never Goes Out<\/strong>, al igual que en canciones en solitario interpretadas por el pol\u00e9mico l\u00edder del grupo, Morrissey, despu\u00e9s de que el grupo se disolviera.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tambi\u00e9n <strong>fue parte de la banda Freebass<\/strong> junto con otros grandes m\u00fasicos como<strong> Peter Hook<\/strong> (de New Order) y<strong> Mani<\/strong> (de Stone Roses) y grab\u00f3 con <strong>Sinead O&#8217;Connor, los Pretenders, Ian Brown<\/strong> y en el grupo <strong>DARK<\/strong>, junto con la vocalista de los <strong>Cranberries Dolores
